Steven was born in Charles County, Maryland and lived there for 9 years before his family relocated to Texas. After graduating from college in 2018, he settled in Frederick.

Steven is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Politics. While in college, he served as the Chairman of the Maryland Federation of College Republicans. 

​

He currently serves as a Legislative Aide to State Senator Michael Hough (R-District 4). Outside of his work on the Central Committee, he is President of the Frederick County Young Republicans.

Steven was elected Chairman of the FCRCC in April 2020. His goals as Chairman include getting Republicans elected at all levels of government, increasing voter engagement with new technology and boosting Republican registration numbers.
