Karen graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1974. She works as an RN and lactation consultant at Frederick Memorial Hospital. A 45 year resident of Frederick County, Karen has 5 children and 4 grandchildren. She is an active Republican activist and has volunteered on the following campaigns:
