Be a Precinct Captain - Your Chance to Make a Difference in Frederick County!

The Republican Central Committee is seeking out individuals who are willing to work for the Republican Party and its candidates. What do Precinct Captains do? They should be committed to:

1. Organizing door-to-door campaigns as elections approach, handing out candidate material, registering new voters, introducing candidates to the people in their community, and reminding people to vote.
2. Organizing phone banks to call the people in their community as elections approach, reminding people to vote, asking them if they want to help out, etc.
3. Acting as a source for campaign material so that if anyone in the community wants to post a sign or needs information, they can provide it or know where to obtain it.
4. Organizing social events for candidates to introduce them to the members of their community.
5. Recruit volunteers from within their community to help them perform all the aforementioned tasks.

Simply reply email with the name, address, phone number, email address, and precinct number where the interested person lives. We will reach out to that person and help get them started.

If you want to help out, contact us at gopcentcom@comcast.net to help.

Big Sign Locations

You see them wherever you go in Frederick - lined up along Rt. 15, Rt. 70 and Rt. 270, at the end of Butterfly Lane, on the Golden Mile, on side streets and in front of businesses, etc. These locations are pure gold for our candidates. Unfortunately, every election cycle we reinvent the wheel - going out, finding the best locations, and obtaining permission from the landowners - if you can figure out who owns the land, etc. Wouldn't it be great if we were able to compile a database within the Central Committee which could be utilized by Republican candidates to easily identify those persons with prime locations who may be willing to allow them to put up signs in the future.

To that end, we encourage all current and past candidates to go through their records and identify those persons (and the associated locations) who have granted permissions for big signs to be posted - and to turn that information over to the Central Committee. All Republican candidates will greatly benefit from this information in the future - saving precious campaign time that would otherwise be spent tracking down these locations. Share the wealth with your fellow Republicans - and we will all benefit.
